JAMES STARK
PASTOR
James is a seasoned Pastor/ Teacher, preaching exegetically through the Bible, verse by verse. James has been a licensed and ordained minister since 1998 and currently serves as the president to Feather River Baptist Association. James' passions are teaching, leading, preaching and raising up leaders to serve Christ’s church.

James and Brenda have been married since 1986 and together they have served Christ throughout their marriage. They have 3 grown children and 6 amazing grandchildren and a family that continues to grow.
James and his oldest daughter serve the Lord ministering to children by leading a summer and winter Adventure Leadership Youth Camp. In his down time, James likes to read, write and enjoys riding single track, snowboarding, hiking and fishing.

My lovely wife and I have been married for 18 years. Our son Rhett fills our lives with lots joy and intrigue. Redding has been my home for most of my life. When I was 8 years old I attended a Christian summer camp. It was there that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. As the teacher talked about the power of Jesus Christ saving grace, I knew I wanted to spend my life getting to know and following Jesus.
It was my good fortune to grow up in a godly home with musical parents who encouraged my curiosity to explore different musical instruments. Although I started out learning to play the piano, I eventually shifted my interest to learning the guitar. I have had the joy of playing on worship teams since the age of 13, and always look forward to working with other musicians as we lead God's people into worship. It is exciting to use the gifts God gave me to help serve others.

Youth Leaders
Dev - I've been equipped by God to lead the youth by a wide range of life experiences. By being introduced to many peers, mentors and mentees I have a strong understanding of the conflicts and turmoil that we all face but is ever more prevalent to our youth, and those young in their faith. God has equipped and inspired me to mentor our youth how to be strong and secure in their faith.
Bri - I am called to love on people who are hurting, to help them feel loved and see how God is working. I am an outgoing, fun driven, God centered woman. God has called me to work with the youth so He can use the strengths He gave me to help our youth d evelop into God driven individuals and love who they are in the process. Life can be hard, especially for our youth in this time. We want to walk beside them and show them God's call to them and what a life of faith looks like.
